The year 2010 is now coming to an end. Let us take a brief look at the challenges and gratifications which 2010 brought our way.
Catastrophes such as the Haiti earthquake and the massive floods in Pakistan caused unimaginable devastation. Volcanic ash disrupted air traffic across northern and western Europe. Wikileaks left a permanent imprint in the minds of many as its revelations continued to embroil governments, sending shockwaves across the world.
On the technical front, humanity also experienced innovations which brought enhancements to the lives of people on our planet. New products, such as the IPAD from Apple computers, are setting up fresh directions for our personal computing in the years to come.
Internet continues to evolve and expand on an ongoing basis. With user-generated content evolving, social media became the buzz word for 2010. Businesses are eager to pass information directly to their customers and, in turn, the customers share this information with their network of friends.
As for Plexus, we spent the better part of 2010 refining PlexAssets, a mutual fund industry software solution. This software solution is geared towards facilitating and optimizing productivity across organizations. Functional areas which are covered in the application include front office investments, middle-office (Risk Management), Back Office (Settlements), Unit holder accounting, fund administration & integrated General Ledger We are very excited about its upcoming release!
We continue to expand our customer base across North America. Plexus participated as an authorized supplier of services in a WSI Internet Consultant’s E&I conference held in Miami, Florida, in Sept. 2010. We showcased the updated Partner Portal designed to cater for the needs of global Internet Consultant community. Our specific knowledge sessions and networking events with the consultant community revolved around Internet marketing solutions of Plexus and advance web application solutions for conducting online business. It was a great opportunity to engage with several hundred potential partners of WSI Internet consultants and exchange ideas on best practices around the globe.
As 2011 comes knocking on our door, we at Plexus will be holding on to the core values of our business and continue to innovate and improve on the previous year. At the same time, we are really excited about the possibilities another year offers and hope to chart new territories, make stronger alliances, and create enhanced software solutions!
