Mutual Funds Association of Pakistan (MUFAP) is the trade body for Pakistan’s multi-billion rupees asset management industry. The money their members manage is in a wide variety of investment vehicles including stocks, bonds, money market instruments, government securities and bank deposits. Their role is to ensure transparency, high ethical conduct and growth of the mutual fund industry. MUFAP’s role is to establish the essential codes and standards within the industry to ensure the trust and confidence of investors and build the industry as a whole.


The Challenge
An association representing an extremely fast growing industry in Pakistan required a web-site which would be representative of Pakistan’s monuments in design, provide relevant information about the members. On the functional side, MUFAP was interested in self-sufficiency in managing their own data; this included updating all their pages on the website, adding news and updating of daily financial statistics of their member companies. They also required to solicit subscriptions for sms and email newsletters.


How Plexus took care of the Project?
Team members of MUFAP worked with Plexus team in evolving the requirements and spent time in approving the layouts. A content management system allowed MUFAP team members to edit and update their websites at any time without the need of the technical skills. Changes can be made directly on their live site. A dynamic frequently asked question and news module were provided as part of the solution. A form based signup facilities for sms and newsletter services was also included in this site.
